Two of Sydney’s most famous old footy clubs have agreed to play in a hybrid game the weekend after the NRL grand final in October.
Randwick’s Galloping Greens will meet the Western Suburbs Magpies at Pirtek Stadium on October 11 for the Hybrid Challenge Cup.
And their two greatest players were there for the announcement – the Magpies’ team-of-the-century hooker Noel ‘Ned’ Kelly and Randwick’s one and only Mark Ella.
